The Vitoret Rapid D is a version of the Vitoret D which accepts Rapid cassettes (an Agfa system for easier film loading). It is very similar to the Vitoret D, but has a 40 mm. f/2.8 Color Lanthar lens in a Prontor 300 shutter. The film speed is set automatically by the Rapid cassette, and a window in the base of the camera shows white if there is no film loaded and an "F" if a film is loaded. In 1965 the camera cost £27 18s. and it appears to have been available for a very short time - perhaps as little as a few months.
