January 2013. It is nearly three years since Stephanie died. Fred has managed to keep our web site running, and has learned how to do monthly updates. Last December (due to steadily increasing stock) Fred attempted the first change to Stephanie’s original web design, increasing the number of pages for View-Master from two to five. This presented a number of unforseen problems, but these have been solved, and all is running well. Don’t believe it when these old folks tell you they are too old for computers!

Three-rail Track
There are two main types of Hornby Dublo three-rail track. The difference between them is in the design of the spring clips between all the pieces, which provide the electrical connection. The earlier pattern (we exclude pre-war track) has smaller rounded spring clips at each end of each piece of track. Later track uses slightly stronger, wider, contact spring clips which are more durable. This later type of track continued until the end of three rail for Hornby Dublo.
Both types of track are fully interchangeable, and can be mixed at will.
