May 2010. Stephanie died peacefully on 19th April after a short stay in hospital. She had been suffering from acute cervical cancer. Fred will continue to run the business to the best of his ability. The web site is slowly getting under control again as he tries to take over some of Stephanie's responsibilities, and learns some of the mysteries of Dreamweaver.

Agfa Isorette (1937), early model of the Isolette, 12 and 16 exposures on 120 film, masks in viewfinder and film plane, 8.5 cm. f/6.3 Agfa Igestar lens, Vario 1/25 sec. to 1/100 sec. shutter, cosmetically near mint but focusing is siezed and shutter requires servicing. (23281) £36.

Agfa Isolette, 8 cm. f/4.5 Agfa Apotar lens in Compur Rapid shutter, not synchronised, no labels inside and painted top plate so probably wartime or very early post war. Excellent condition but painted top plate looks shabby and 1 sec. and 1/2 sec. are a bit sluggish. (25414) £20.

Agfa Isolette (1945 to 1950), 12 exposures on 120 film, 8.5 cm. f/4.5 Apotar focusing in metres, Compur Rapid 1 sec. to 1/500 sec. not synchronised for flash, double exposure prevention, time exposure lock, 3/8 inch tripod bush, nice ever ready case. Slow speeds working but sluggish, camera and case excellent otherwise. (22993) £33.

Agfa Isolette II, 12 exposures on 120 film, 75 mm. f/3.5 Agfa Solinar lens focusing in feet, Prontor SV 1sec. to 1/300 sec. shutter (low speeds unreliable, delayed action release unreliable), 3 mm. coaxial flash connection, 1/50 sec. scale, looks to have had little use. Very rare in the UK with this superb lens. Shutter requires servicing if it is to be used. Near mint condition. (24365) £95.

Balda Baldax (1952) 12 exposures on 120 film, 75 mm. f/2.9 Baltar coated lens, Prontor S 1 sec. to 1/300 sec. shutter with delayed action release, 1/25 sec. shutter speed scale, 3 mm. coaxial flash connection, ratchet film wind, accessory shoe, all working, excellent condition, a little rusting on some iron parts. Belca Belfoca, 8 pictures on 120 film, 105 mm. f/4.5 Ludwig Meritar, Prontor S 1 sec. to 1/250 sec., with delayed action release, 3 mm. coaxial flash connection, viewfinder has movable mask for 12 pictures but there is no camera mask, very good condition, leather pouch. (23152) £34.

Dacora Digna Vario (1954), 12 pictures on 120 film, 75 mm. f/4.5 Subita focusing in feet, Vario 1/25 sec. to 1/200 sec. shutter, lens/shutter on a retractable tube, accessory shoe, shabby original ever ready case. camera in excellent condition but would benefit from cleaning. (25006) £25.

Ebner 16 on 120 with 7.5 cm. f/4.5 Meyer Trioplan, Pronto 1/25 sec. to 1/100 sec. shutter with delayed action release, folding viewfinder of unusual design, beautifully made Bakelite construction, corner of back panel has been broken but has been successfully repaired. Ensign Selfix 220, 12 and 16 exposures on 120 film, built in masks on film plane and viewfinder, film wind on by disc counters 1 - 12 and 1 - 16, 75 mm. f/4.5 Ensign lens, Everset shutter 1/25 sec. and 1/50 sec., not synchronised, very good condition, slight ding on base, trim loose on front panel. Ensign Selfix 420, 8 or 12 pictures on 120 film, thought to be c. 1945, 105 mm. f/4.5 Ensar no. 3412, Epsilon 1 sec. to 1/150 sec. shutter (no provision for flash synch.), folding frame viewfinder (8 on), reflecting viewfinder, tripod bush filler missing, excellent condition, all working, good leather case. Foitzik Mess-Unca (1952), 75 mm. f/3.5 Steinar lens, Prontor S 1 sec. to 1/300 sec., 3 mm. coaxial flash synchronisation, accessory shoe, original ever ready case, camera is in very good condition, the leatherette trim is starting to lift in places, the ever ready case is excellent. This is a rare camera in Britain. (23150) £45.

Franka Solida I (1955), 12 exposures on 120 film, 75 mm. f/6.3 Frankar Anastigmat, Vario 1/25, 1/50, 1/200 sec. shutter, 3 mm. coaxial flash synchronisation, double exposure prevention, original ever ready case, all in excellent condition. (23148) £24.

Franka Solida Record, 12 or 16 on 120, 80 mm. f/8 Spezial-Objectiv, simple shutter synchronised for bulbs, masks in camera and viewfinder for 4 x 4, three stops and focusing lens, original hide ever ready case, excellent condition. (21214) £17.

Fuji Kogaku Kyra Six, 12 exposures on 120 film, 75 mm. f/3.5 Terionar lens, shutter 1 sec. to 1/200 sec. (inoperative), the camera is thought to date from 1939 and is for restoration. Trim and enamel shabby. Good hide ever ready case. (23838) £20.

GB-Kershaw 110, 12 exposures on 120 film, well-made camera which looks like an Agfa Isolette, simple lens and shutter, accessory shoe, tripod bush. Near mint condition. Original ever ready case is beginning to deteriorate. Accessory shoe and tripod bush have slight rusting. (24388) £25.

GB-Kershaw 450, the best model from the Kershaw revival of domestic camera production under the Rank Organisation in the early 1950s. 80 mm. f/4.5 Etar Anastigmat (probably made by Taylor Hobson), Velio shutter 1/10 sec. to 1/200 sec., 3 mm. flash connection working, very unusual shutter release built into the baseboard. Near mint condition. (25411) £40.

Ihagee Auto Ultrix (1931), 8 exposures on 120 film, also has plate back, 105 mm. f/4.5 Zodellar lens, in Compur shutter (working on all speeds). Rising front, double extension. Probably made for, and sold by, Wallace Heaton. In need of a little tender loving care to restore to immaculate. (25398) £65.

Kershaw Raven (1947), 8 pictures on 120 film, 4 inch f/6.3 Kershaw Anastigmat, everset shutter 1/25 sec. to 1/100 sec. (no provision for flash synch.), black Bakelite body and base plate, lovely condition and all working. (24670) £60.

Krasnagorsk Moskwa II (1952), 8 on 120, a close copy of the Zeiss Ikon Super Ikonta 531/2, 11 cm. f/4.5 focusing in metres, Moment-1 shutter 1 sec. to 1/250 sec., not synchronised, coupled rangefinder, excellent. (15265) £183. Pictures

Nagel 74, 8 on 120, an early item from this famous manufacturer, which became German Kodak, 4 inch f/4.5 Dallmeyer (!) lens in Gauthier Ibsor shutter 1 sec. to 1/125 sec., folding bed design with radial focusing on bed, reflecting viewfinder with spirit level, condition excellent, slow speeds sluggish, shabby hide pouch with neck strap. Nixette Folding Camera (1955) 12 exposures on 120 film, 75 mm. f/5.6 Supra-anastigmat in Vario 1/25 sec. to 1/200 sec. shutter (jammed). Unusual design folding front with cast alloy side supports, paddle release on side of shutter, body looks like Bakelite, near mint with original ever ready case. (24466) £95.

Petri Semi c.1948, 16 on 120, 7.5 cm. f/3.5 Petri Anastigmat (metres), shutter 1 sec. to 1/200 sec., reflecting and direct vision optical viewfinders, separate uncoupled rangefinder, cosmetically excellent with original ever ready case and all working, but the wind-on knob spindle is worn (repairable by skilled person) so not suitable for use. Slight deterioration of chromium plating in one place. (18724) £39.

Voigtlander Bessa, 8 exposures on 120 film, 11 cm. f/4.5 Voigtar lens, Gauthier shutter 1 sec. to 1/150 sec. with delayed action release (slow speeds 1/5 sec. downwards and delayed action all working but sluggish), direct vision viewfinder for 8 and 16 on but focal plane mask for 16 on is missing. Good used condition with nice hide pouch. (23837) £20.

Voigtlander Bessa (1945), 8 or 16 on 120 film (the camera comes with the rare original mask for pictures 4.5 cm. x 6 mm.), 10.5 cm. f/3.5 Color-Skopar, Prontor shutter 1 sec. to 1/200 sec. (speeds 1/10 sec. and below not working), folding semi-concealed automatically released direct vision viewfinder, standard tripod bushes, good canvas pouch case. Excellent condition for over sixty years old and a rare and potentially valuable camera, fitted with one of the best lenses available. (25477) £100.

Voigtlander Prominent (1933) Original Hide Pouch Case, velvet lined. The camera to go with this case is worth well over £1000. In the early days of our business in Bradford Fleamarket Nobby Clark had a mint example for £200 and I did not buy it! Leather and stitching sound. Would benefit from a touch of polish. (25397) £20.

Welmy Six, 12 on 120, 75 mm. f/3.5 Terionar, focusing in metres, Taisei Koki 1 sec. to 1/200 sec. d/a shutter, Kodak type sync. plug, unusual design of reflex viewfinder shows upside-down image, also normal optical viewfinder, very good with orig. e.r.c. (needs stitching). Shutter ring is rather stiff. (14390) £27.

Welmy Six, 12 on 120, later version without strap lugs, 75 mm. f/3.5 Terionar, shutter 1 sec. to 1/200 sec. (B sticks open), unusual design of reflex viewfinder shows upside-down image, also normal optical viewfinder, very good condition. (20188) £41.

Wirgin Baky (c.1935), 7.5 cm. f/2.9 Schneider Radionar, Compur Rapid 1 sec. to 1/400 sec. with d/a (d/a OK but slow speeds need attention), Bakelite body, back, and baseplate, a high quality product with folding optical viewfinder, generally very good with some slight brassing, with orig. hide e.r.c. (no neck strap). (15327) £118.

Wirgin Baky (c.1935), 7.5 cm. f/2.9 Meyer Trioplan, Compur 1 sec. to 1/250 sec. with d/a (d/a very slow, shutter speeds ok), smooth finish brown Bakelite body, back, and baseplate, a high quality product but folding optical viewfinder is missing, otherwise in excellent condition. (21466) £79.

Zeiss Ikon Cocarette (1930), 8 exposures on 120 film, reflecting viewfinder, 10.5 cm. f/4.5 Carl Zeiss Tessar lens, dial set Compur 1 sec. to 1/250 sec. shutter which works reasonably well at all speeds, folding baseboard design with lever focusing on baseboard. In very good condition for year. (25072) £120.

Zeiss Ikon Ikonta 521, 16 on 120, 7.5 cm. f/3.5 Tessar lens, focusing in feet, Compur-Rapid 1 sec. to 1/500 sec. shutter, Wind interlock, excellent condition but small non-standard accessory shoe neatly fitted to camera top, good ever ready case. This camera has been professionally serviced for us. (20739) £115.

Zeiss Ikon Ikonta 521 (c. 1950), 16 exposures on 120 film using two red windows in back plate. 75 mm. f/3.5 Novar (uncoated) in Compur 1 sec. to 1/300 sec. shutter (1/25 sec. scale), no flash connection at this time. Works well, folding direct vision viewfinder, double exposure prevention. Some bumps under trim. Excellent condition. Original ever ready case. (24530) £50.

Zeiss Ikon Ikonta M 524/16, built-in uncoupled rangefinder, 75 mm. f/4.5 Novar, Prontor SV shutter, generally excellent (some paint chipped off at back hinge) but 1/2 and 1 sec. are sluggish, and d/a is inoperative, excellent e.r.c. needs new strap. (14366) £59.

Zeiss Ikon Nettar 515, 16 on 120, 7.5 cm. f/4.5 Nettar-Anastigmat, Prontor 1 sec. to 1/175 sec. and delayed action release (all working), Folding optical viewfinder. Camera front needs gentle coaxing to erect, otherwise in very good condition. Camera is said to perform well. (19267) £27.

Zeiss Ikon Nettar 515/2, 8 pictures on 120 film, 11 cm. f/4.5 Novar-Anastigmat, Telma shutter 1/25 sec. to 1/125 sec., not synchronised, delayed action release not working, excellent condition, may be early post-war (metric focusing). Original hide pouch. (23580) £49.

Zeiss Ikon Nettar 515/2 (c. 1937), 8 exposures on 120 film, 11 cm. f/4.5 Nettar Anastigmat, Compur 1 sec. to 1/250 sec. shutter, some paint rubbing. Excellent condition. Original leather pouch. (25121) £50.

Zeiss Ikon Super Ikonta 531/16, 12 on 120, 75 mm. f/3.5 Novar, Synchro-Compur 1 sec. to 1/500 sec., coupled rangefinder, in orig. e.r.c., all excellent. (13467) £163.

Zeiss Ikon Super Six 530/16, early alternative version of Super Ikonta, 8 cm. f/2.8 Tessar focusing in metres, Compur Rapid 1 sec. to 1/400 sec. shutter with delayed action release, 3 mm. coaxial flash connection, coupled rangefinder, in very good condition, should clean up nicely.
