Commercial Slides

These slides have been purchased originally at the sites covered in the collections, and at major art galleries displaying the paintings. They are mostly copy slides, and as such may suffer to a slight degree from colour deterioration.

All seriously damaged slides have been removed from the sets.

Lantern Slides

These slides are mounted in the standard lantern-slide format, as used in old lantern-slide projectors. They are not suitable for modern slide projectors.
