May 2010. Stephanie died peacefully on 19th April after a short stay in hospital. She had been suffering from acute cervical cancer. Fred will continue to run the business to the best of his ability. Konica C35 (c. 1972), 38 mm. f/2.8 Hexanon, programmed automatic exposure 1/30 sec. at f/2.8 to 1/650 sec. at f/14. Provision for setting lens aperture for flash exposure. Hot shoe flash connection. Note that this model has no rangefinder or delayed action release. Everything is working (LR44 type cell required for metering). The viewfinder window has a crack across it which does not affect use. Samoca 35 III (1950s), 50 mm. f/3.5 C. Ezumar Anastigmat, shutter 1/25 sec. to 1/100 sec. (inoperative). In shabby condition for spares or restoration. Original ever ready case. Said to have been purchased by the seller's father in Hong Kong c. 1950. (23373) £20.

Shinano Pigeon, 45 mm. f/3.5 Tomioka S-Lausar, NKS shutter 1/10 sec. to 1/200 sec., Kodak type flash socket, gen. very good but shutter requires servicing. (15177) £31.

Voigtlander Vito (1947), 5 cm. f/3.5 Voigtlander Skopar lens, Prontor II 1 sec. to 1/200 sec. shutter with sluggish delayed action release. Shutter is synchronised but post is 4 mm. diameter so not tested. Very good condition with original hide ever ready case which needs minor repair, generally excellent. This is the original Vito as manufactured immediately after the war, with feeler roller inside, but without hinged filter. This was probably the best of the compact 35 mm. cameras of the time. Zeiss Ikon Contina I C (1958-1960) large viewfinder, 45 mm. f/2.8 Pantar, Prontor-SVS light value shutter 1 sec. to 1/300 sec., delayed action release inoperative, 3 mm. coaxial flash connection, excellent condition with original ever ready case from which the front trim panel is missing, otherwise excellent. Zeiss Ikon Ikonta 35 folding camera, 4.5 cm. f/3.5 Novar lens in Prontor 1 sec. to 1/250 sec. shutter, flash synchronized with a non-standard socket, film winds on and locks but shutter is set manually, slow speeds and delayed action are a little sluggish. Focusing is in metres. A rare specimen in Britain, in near mint condition except as described, with original Zeiss Ikon hide pouch case in excellent condition. We have never seen the like of it in Britain. (24916) £100.
